Tarantella Ristorante was founded by brothers Biagio (Benny) and Salvatore (Sal) Coppola, who emigrated from Monte di Procida, near Naples, Italy, in search of the American dream. Growing up in a family of 11, they brought with them a deep appreciation for authentic Italian cooking, family traditions, and hospitality.
After years of building successful restaurants throughout New Jersey, the brothers opened Tarantella Ristorante in Medford in May 1997. Over the years, Tarantella has grown and evolved, featuring renovated banquet rooms and an expanded seasonal outdoor patio, open weather permitting.

While our appearance may have changed, our values remain the same. Tarantella continues to be a place where guests are welcomed like family and can enjoy the authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and traditions that have been at the heart of the Coppola family for generations.
